Our History

In 1966 Cosmopolitan Travel was started by William J. Bailey and Ted Mayhew to provide world-wide corporate and leisure travel to aspiring globe trotters and families looking for adventure. The business continued successfully and in 1986 Cosmopolitan Travel resulted in two entities: one being business and commercial travel and the other specializing in group travel and accommodation tours known today as Bailey Tours Inc.

Bailey Tours Inc.; CEO Richard (Dick) Tackett, assumed the responsibility of managing and operating the educational student and group tours aspect of the business. Since 1986, he and associates have continued to provide excellence and exceptional service to each and every school and group tour on an individual basis.
